If you do not have internet access

If you do not have internet access, you can still use Peerbots on a local area network.

(Note: you do still need a router to create a local area network for the Peerbots app to connect to, even if that router does not have internet access.)

First, get the login credentials to your router's local area network:

Note that you will need two devices: one for the controller and one for the face.

Make sure both devices are connected to the same network.

Now, on both devices, open up the Peerbots app.

Click on the Use Peerbots Offline button.

This will open up a window asking if you are sure you want to continue offline. Click on the grey Yes, I want to stay offline button.

Now, on one device, click on Face mode, and on the other device, click on Controller mode.

On the Face device, if it is connected to the local area network and network permissions have been granted, you will see the the local IP address listed in the upper-middle part of the screen (probably something like 192.168.1.2).

On the Controller device, on the Call devices panel on the right side, enter the IP address from the Face device into the  Email or web address field. Then click on the Call Device button to connect the controller device to the face device.

If the connection was successful, you should now be able to send messages from the Controller device to the Face device on the local area network! (even without an internet connection)
